The Alberta Cancer Foundation

The ACF is Alberta’s cancer-focussed foundation, supporting delivery of cancer care throughout the province, and research towards prevention and cures.


Alberta Innovates

Alberta Innovates’ mandate is to support Alberta innovators, researchers and businesses in bringing innovate solutions and products to market.


Innovate Calgary

Innovate Calgary helps investigators advance their innovations towards the market, and serves as the technology transfer and business incubation centre for the University of Calgary.


The Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta (CRINA)

CRINA is situated at the University of Alberta, and serves to educate and foster collaboration in cancer research, and to facilitate its translation to clinical application.


The Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute

The Arnie Charbonneau Institute connects researchers, educators and physicians throughout the University of Calgary community to focus on the control and prevention of cancer, and the improvement of life for cancer patients.


The Drug Development and Innovation Centre (DDIC)

The (DDIC) at the University of Alberta assists investigators in developing and producing conventional or novel drug product formulations, with the quality and regulatory support needed for clinical trial materials.


Alberta Cell Therapy Manufacturing (ACTM)

The ACTM operates a GMP facility for manufacturing of client’s cell therapy or biologic clinical material.


Translational Research in Oncology (TRIO)

TRIO is an Edmonton-based not-for-profit academic clinical research organization, focussing on clinical trials translating innovative or targeted anti-cancer therapeutics.
